You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship you.
Nehemiah 9:7
Because of who our God is, I bow down before Him. When sickness limits my body, I don’t bow down to it. When my mind tells me I’m not able, I don’t bow down to it. When fear of failing creeps into my thoughts, I don’t bow down to it. I bow before God, and God alone. I worship His Majesty in times of weakness. I worship His Mighty name in times of sickness. Do not bow down to physical limitations and restraints. Know that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you. The next time Satan slips you a card under the table that says, “You probably can’t do that,” or “What if you fail?” Get down on your face, bow before our Almighty God and take that step. You can do it! Not because of who you are, but because of who He is!
